Hairdressers and the Power They Wield Over YOU

I'm currently reading a book called All Good Children, by Catherine Austen. I just had to share this hilarious quote from page 44. In this scene, the main character Maxwell is getting a haircut at a salon, and the hairdresser won't stop barraging him with questions and she refuses to proceed with the haircut until he answers them. Here is Maxwell's response to this situation: "I should tell Xavier that the field of hairdressing is wide open to him. It's a legal way to trap people in a chair and force them to listen to you for hours."Loving the book!
